Mobile App Update
As of January 9, 2018, a new update is available for the AHB mobile app. Below are highlights of the changes you may see.
App Icon Background Color Change
The background color of the app icon has changed from white to black.
App Menu Header
The app menu header has been updated to include an AHB logo and a welcome message.
Transfers with Optional Memo
The Transfer option now includes a line to add a memo.
Mobile Deposit Screen Change
To enter a new mobile deposit (you must be signed up for mobile deposit for the deposit option to appear): From the Deposits screen, select the plus button in the upper right corner.
The account listing screen has been updated with black text and a white background for better contrast viewing.
Reminder Specific to Apple Devices
For security purposes, TouchID turns off within the app each time the app is updated. To turn TouchID back on for the AHB app, log in to the AHB app using your Online Banking ID and password, then select Preferences from the app menu. A slider option will be available to turn on TouchID. A login pop-up will appear requiring your Online Banking ID and password again to activate TouchID.

New Fraud Prevention Service
In our continuing efforts to keep your accounts secure, we have improved our alert system for potential check card fraud.
- When potential check card fraud is detected, you will receive an email notification from the Fraud Center (if we have your email address on file). The email will list any suspected fraudulent check card transactions and will provide the option to click on the most accurate response from the following statements: “All Transactions Authorized” or “One or More Transaction(s) NOT Authorized”.
- If you do not click on an option in the email, you will then receive a free text message (if your phone number supports text messaging). The text will provide the option to reply with “fraud” or “no fraud”.
- If you do not respond to the text message, you will then receive an automatic phone call to confirm or deny fraud. The call will also provide the option of speaking to a fraud analyst.
- Depending on the level of confidence in the suspected fraud, your check card may be blocked from completing further transactions at any point during this process until you either confirm or deny fraud.
Remember: Our communications will NEVER ask for your PIN or account number.
The phone number for our Fraud Center has changed to 1-800-417-4592 (to report a card lost or stolen, call 866-546-8273). Please add this number to your contacts labeled as “Fraud Center”. Also, please make sure we have your updated phone number(s) and email address(es) on file so we can contact you quickly in the event fraud is suspected.
If you are currently enrolled in our Text Alerts for Check Cards service, please note that these new messages will be in addition to any text alerts you already receive. These additional alert system messages are free and you will only receive these new messages and calls if potential check card fraud is suspected. You will continue to receive the text alerts you are used to seeing for specific transaction types as normal.
