A. You will need a personal computer, a modem, a 128 bit capable browser, an active account with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and an account (or accounts) with American Heritage Bank.
Q. What can I do with AmericanNet?
A. You may obtain up to the minute information about your AHB accounts, deposits, loans, and history information; you may view check images, transfer funds between accounts with the same ownership, begin the loan application process, and download transactions into several popular accounting software packages.
Q. Into what types of software can I download my AmericanNet transactions?
A. You may download this information into personal finance software, spreadsheet software and word processing software. The file types supported include those with a .OFX, .QFX, .QBO, .IIF, .QIF, .CSV or .TXT suffix. Popular software supported by AmericanNet includes Quicken, Quick Books and Microsoft Money.
Q. How soon after a transaction is executed does it appear in my account activity?
A. Typically, most transactions are posted on the same business day and may be reviewed within 24 hours.
Q. What is AmericanNet Bill Payer?
A. It is an on-line bill payment feature that allows you to pay all of your bills electronically. If the merchant you are paying is not set up to receive electronic payments, this feature automatically prepares and mails them a paper check.
Q. How far in advance of the due date should I pay bills with Bill Payer?
A. To ensure timely posting, we recommend that bills be paid 10 business days before they are due if they are going to be a check payment and 4 business days prior to the due date if the payment will be electronic.
Q. How do I know that my account information will be secure?
A. AmericanNet employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol ensuring that all data passed over the Internet is encrypted, and therefore secure. For additional security, AmericanNet Bank also utilizes user-defined passwords and PIN numbers, log-offs for inactivity, and automatic "lock-out" for invalid access attempts.
Q. How do I sign up for AmericanNet?
A. Simply complete the application and return it to any American Heritage Bank location.
Q. How do I sign up for the bill payment feature, and is there a charge for this service?
A. Just check the American Net with bill payment service block on the AmericanNet application. There is no monthly fee for Bill Payer. An inactivity fee will be assessed if the service is not used for any 90 day period.
Q. How do I print my transaction listing and make sure all my information prints on the page?
A. Set your print layout to landscape or adjust your font settings.
Q. Who do I call with questions?
A. For questions about AmericanNet, contact our AmericanNet Bank Customer Support at 918-224-3210 or email us at AmericanNet@ahb-ok.com.
Q. What should I use for my PIN number and how long should it be?
A. For your protection your PIN will be required to have 8 characters. Using an alphanumeric combination provides the highest level of security. Do not use names, birthdates or commonly used information that may be easily guessed.
